Well, how did I do today. Got myself a excellent schick injector in case and a Gillette New. My question, is this a new or new deluxe or is there a difference? Paid a total of $14.00 for all of it!!

I think the New on the left alone is worth more than that.
Injectors are great shavers that are hard to clean, so you're lucky you got such a nice one.
As for the New, I can't tell if it's a Deluxe. If the bottom is flat and has no ridges, then it has a Deluxe head on it. From the teeth, I'm guessing it's a normal New, but I can't really tell.

It looks like a Gillette New Common Bar. Great shaver. Definately aggressive and highly effective.

It has the ridges so its a normal new. Still a great razor, right?
Correct, a fine shaver (and looks to be in great shape!). These were the first of Gillette's line made for their "new" blade (essentially the very same DE blade profile we're now using) as opposed to the three hole blades originally made for the Old Types, and the "New Improved" razors of the 1920's. Hard to be certain without another angle, but this appears to be a long comb New.

What does the "hydro-magic" mean?
I thought the Hydro Magic wasn't introduced until the Type I. Is it possibly the wrong case?
As far as I knew, it was a lever on the underside of the handle that, when flipped up, lowered the safety bar for cleaning.
You are certainly correct sir. Type I. Probably the wrong case for that razor which looks like a G to me.
