I play much less now than I did growing up. I get to the first tee box and think, what a perfectly good waste of a rifle range.

Nice... I think I got these on eBay.
I've never played golf, but tees work perfectly. Keep a few in the car or truck, and stashed in jacket & coat pockets.

Plus the concave face allows me to tamp down the higher tobacco along the perimeter of the bowl without over tamping the center.
As I sit and smoke now, I think if one just tamps along the perimeter there would be no need to tamp the center depending on the size of the bowl. Maybe that’s common knowledge?
