Charles Bronson's 'Mandom' commercials

Antique Hoosier put me on to these....classic! And we thought Chuck Norris was tough! Because of these videos I have now decided to wear Mandom every day for the rest of my life. Especially when I drive home by myself doing 120MPH in a Lincoln, dance around the apartment, spark up my pipe, fling off my shirt and empty half a bottle of aftershave all over myself while dreaming about shooting people in my buckskins. What a man!

How funny...I was watching Death Wish II on TV this weekend. What a good bad movie, much like the original.

My favorite work of his is Magnificent Seven and The Great Escape.

I wouldn't suggest smoking a pipe while applying Mandom, as the stuff seems to be highly flamamble due to the manly gasoline musk scent!

For those of you who haven't seen it, I did a review of Mandom here. It truly does make you feel like going out and shooting somebody though!

Japanese commercials are remarkable as they always seem to dig up stars who have sort of gone by the wayside in the US (I saw commercials for coffee by Tommy Lee Jones, and some other commercial by Kevin Costner). Looks like they had Charles in his prime though!

Did you know that Jack Klugman and Charles Bronson were roommates at one time? I could just see Charles and Jack, cruising along in a classic car, arm-wrestling each other, sparring at lakeside, and swapping Mandom splashes between them. Those must have been magical days.

Oddly enough, I have some Mandom Unscented aftershave that I use at the moment! Not bad stuff. They sell some of the line at my local drug store, so I'll see what else I can pick up, as clearly, those are the best commercials ever.
