Challenge! Find a good value Single Edge razor that takes DE blades!

UPDATE - I tried the Challenger/V-ishw with a feather blade. Extra challenge - I slept in and bummed around with coffee so I didn't shave till 11 AM.

I got a solid BBS shave for sure, but it was a bit of work. The razor is so light that it noisily crashes through denser growth. But I walked away with a nice shave. I have to remember I'm only using one side of a feather blade and they're not exactly famous for longevity. I'll have to see how that goes.

I'm leaning toward making this my travel razor. My daily driver is a 1937 GEM Micromatic. I just can't beat it!

Great! I'm glad its working out. I have a Gem somewhere in my collection, but the blades always turned me off (prefer DE's). How many shaves do you get from them?

I think I've been getting at least 12-15 shaves a blade.

For context, I see some guys posting 80 shaves with a Feather DE blade but I can get no more than 2, so I'm not in the Peachfuzz cohort....

I found two more single edge razor's by the same company "ROCNEL" the first is the Rocnel single edge razor SE-P for $85 and the open comb version for $130. I think they also sell other single edge razors that use injector type blades. The website is Turkish www.rocnel.com

Excellent razors, I have both.
