It was a banner day today for me...I recieved three classic cased rhodium plated British Gillette Aristocrats in the mail...thanks to B&B's own all-star, poonjaji. The 1934 I had gotten from him previously, but the #15, #21, and #66 just blew me away. These have not been cleaned or polished, and the lighting today sucked (very overcast outside) so I apologise for any ugliness in the pics. I took a pic each time with and without flash, because they were hard to capture accurately. Also, sorry for any stray shadows and cat hairs...I was in too much of a hurry to share the love). Enjoy...
First, the cases:
The 1934 Aristocrat (the cloth under the case is the original slip cover, and the blade box is full of Blue Blades):
The #15 Brit (also included the instructions):
The #21 Brit:
The #66 Brit:
1934 & #15:
#21 & #66:
The Crazy Gang:
I'm sure they'll be even more stunning once cleaned, and no...I'm not going to use them, lol...well, maybe the #21. Words cannot express my gratitude to Michael for the joy that comes from dealing with him. Truly one of B&B's greatest gentlemen.
