Caswell-Massey Cream

Looks fancy, got it at T.J. Max on clearance for $4. Can't seem to get a good lather out of it. Maybe it's the Muhle Silvertip Fibre travel brush. Anyone else tried it?

I had a tube of Caswell Massey eucalyptus shaving cream a few weeks back. It will lather, but you will probably need to use at least double the amount of cream you are used to using. I consider it to be a below average cream, and I PIFed it after a couple of uses.

This was one of the first creams I bought several years ago. I had trouble lathering this cream and thought it was me. It turns out this cream is crap.

Use it as a brushless shave cream.

Casswell Massey is probably one of the worst shaving creams ever made. I don't know anyone who can get it to lather properly. The soap is even worse.

FTFY.

This is about the only product I strongly recommend be avoided. It is an absolute waste of money, period.

Caswell-Massey's goal is to provide a latherless shaving product at a price point that can be absorbed by all. Let's give them some credit for succeeding.

I bought some of their shave cream a while back at either a marshalls or tj maxx, its a terrible performer, its a shame b/c it smells great.

Aside from the scents which are really quite nice, the cream has little redeeming quality. The soap can at least be used as a body bar.

I think most people dont realize that this product requires MUCH less water then most other creams. In my experience it lathers great with a badger brush, you just have to know how to work it.
