Castle Forbes Lavender SCENT compared to QCS and T&H?

I have only tried QCS and T&H Lavender. I liked the T&H Lavender scent probably a bit more even though it is not authentic. My question is how does the CF Lavender scent compare?

Also are there other Lavender scents that use EO which smell close to the T&H Lavender?

It's been awhile since I've tried the CF lavender shaving cream, but I think it was in the same family lavender as the QCS one and that the two are quite close in scent. My preference was for the QCS shaving soap both in terms of scent and performance, but everybody has their preferences. I don't have any recollection, unfortunately, of the T&H lavender. So, I'm no help on that one ...

I've tried all 3 of the lavenders you mention here. And I agree that CF Lavender's scent is similiar to the QCS soap. However,I stronly disagree with you on performance The CF lavender cream,IMO,far and away outperforms the QCS soap. But I'm essentially a 'cream over soap' shaver anyway.

I have been a Castle Forbes addict for a long time - I have always considered it to be the best cream on the market. I recently bought both QCS lavender soap and used it with my R41 which is, for me, the acid test of any soap or cream. It protected me well (no cuts, no weepers), which up to this point, no other cream or soap has been able to do - except CF.

Thanks guys! As an aside, does the CF Lime have the life saver candy scent? I hope not but just making sure. I'm looking for more of a sour lime scent...

It's not a "life saver" scent. I believe that CF uses only essential oils (I could be wrong) so it really smells like a lime.

My friends
i have enjoyed Trufitt Hill more than any British to include TOBS, Geo Trumper , d Harris . I like the trufitt hill a nice mix with glycerine etc
Trufitt hill uses pure oils in their scents
there are posts about dyes and chemical smells in others
I plan to getCastle Forbes as my next . imo most of the british have lost their market, one i like is TObS.
Trufitt hilk is a high end one in my book for a few bucks more as will be Castle Forbes , i feel these are far more advanced than any other than SMN

Good luck
Jimmy

I use both CF & QCS - both have excellent ingredients and the lavender scent is excellent and long lasting. Both are regulars in my rotation.
