Carter Hall equivalent w/o the PG

"Can't Raise an Eyebrow"
Thanks! I'll consider adding it to my next P&C order. Any other suggestions anyone?

I like Butternut Burley, similar to CH, with a bit more flavor IMO. Also a P&C blend I believe. I bought a pound of it awhile back and don't really remember where I got it from.

Used to have fun with Commander Yellow Pantyhose
Forgive my ignorance but what do you mean by pg?
PG is propylene glycol. Its a humectant and many over the counter "drugstore brands" use it in their tobacco to keep ot moist. Its one of those things that has not been proven harmful (as far as the government is concerned) but some folks avoid it either out of health concerns or because they don't like how wet it keeps tobacco. You'll also find PG in lots of cosmetics and shampoos, etc.

I've never really known Carter Hall to have much if any pg in it. It does have a topping on it, hence where the aroma comes from. I generally put mine into a tobacco pouch and it lasts about 2-3 weeks and by the time it's nearing the end it's quite dry. I have some black cavendish that's loaded with the stuff and it's just in the plastic bag it came in and it's as moist today as it was 6 weeks ago when I bought it and the bag is anything but sealed up airtight.

Yep, it's in many cheaper aftershaves and soaps as it does the same thing as glycerin but at a reduced cost for the manufacturer.

I have a pouch of CB White that has been on the dash of my work van for almost six months, loosely wrapped, still soft and moist. Granted, it has been unusually humid here lately, but still...

I can't say that I have personal experience, but there is a certain piper on these boards that speaks very highly of Peretti Blend 333.
