Caron Pour Un Homme EDT and B&M Reserve Lavender Aftershave?

Still trying to match a lavender aftershave with Pour Un Homme cologne. Fine Lavender proved to be a no-go. Currently curious about how close B&M Reserve Lavender (said to be like Caldey Island) would come? Match? Complete? Thanks!

I'd try at least sampling reserve lavender.

I know neither reserve fern, reserve classic, or reserve cool match it.

It's difficult as it's a pretty unique scent: a well-balanced vanilla-lavender scent with a musky note. Neither note is more apparent than the other and the result is a non-offensive musty lavender with musk. It's not a fougere, nothing green about it.

I just use unscented witch hazel or a balm if I'm going with Caron Pour Un Homme. Anything else throws off the balance which, to me, is the strong suit of the scent.

Have you tried B&M's Lavanille aftershave? It is not a spot on match to Caron Pour Un Homme, but it is the closest that I have.

I have not tried lavanille aftershave. Had the soap once, but not the aftershave. Don't recall that the soap smelled that much like lavender.
