Hi everyone, just trying to tap into the wealth of knowledge on here.
In my collection I have two Carnos razors, one has imitation Tortoiseshell scales (don't look original) and cladding on the tang with Regd.No.42538 on the box the other just plain black scales. Both blades are amazing, very straight, take and hold a fantastic edge but....
I can't find anything about the history and just out of shear curiousity would like to be able to date them and know a little about the manufacturer.
At a guess I would think mid 1900's ? but apart from "made in Germany" on the tang I know nothing.
