Carminas Added to the Rotation

All the good press and photos about/of Carmina finally wore me down. In a moment of weakness, I ordered a pair. Four days later, a package from Spain arrived at my desk. From the packaging, to the leather, to the style and construction, I am completely blown away. Best of all, they fit like they were made for me.

I find myself eye-balling their monk straps in oxblood cordovan, wondering how long I'll be able to hold out. I hope to make it at least until I have my camera unpacked and Photoshop re-intsalled.

You are going to have me in a pair of monks sooner rather than later. Every time I look at a pair to try and find what people see in them, I find i like them more. And I do believe they will be from Carmina.

You are the reason I picked up this pair. A damn fine pair of shoes. The leather is a little stiffer than I am accustomed to but they look so good I could care less. I'm already eyeing up my next pair(s) - either the navy whole cut in cordovan or the burgundy monk straps.

Yes I did. The leather is absolutely beautiful, stunning really, and I have no problem with them starting off a little stiff. In fact, I am quite sure I'll have acquired another pair or two in the coming months.
