Came in a purple box with a purple sticker on one end with silver font Saying:
Tytex Carbo Hone
No 42
4"x2"
Was in a lot of DE razors and shaving brushes on eBay and called a Razor hone by the seller. Was hoping to avoid testing the grit as I don't really feel like honing razors right now, but guess I'mma have to.
It's not a Carborundum brand. It's American honing Company.
I finally got around to trying it out. It's not a barbers/razor hone. I'd estimate it's in the 2k-4k range. It shaves, but not smooth, and the edge is very abrasive.
