I've spotted a nice edc folder I really like the look of, but I'm hesitating about pulling the trigger because the scales are made of carbon fibre. They look stunning and I'm aware will be very strong in some ways, but I worry they won't stand up well to daily dings from keys, coins, pens and other stuff in my pockets. So I'm hoping some of you B&B knife fans will be able to chime in and lay my fears to rest, or not. Cheers all.

I'll have to go look. Picked a CF Civivi couple weeks ago.Carried in same pocket as keys, it has picked up some marks, sure. But things such as a $45 folder are meant to be used.
That said, I also have a $$$Benchmade CF... I'll look at both.

Thanks for taking the time to check your knives. It's good to know CF can take some knocks; I hate edc gear that can'r take real life use.
