I topped off my Parker shavette with Coates Lavendar shave cream shave with some Captains Lime tonight. It was an extraordinary shave! The finisher was as smooth as butter!

Cap'ns Lime is good stuff.
Does it have a good burn?
It does not give me the SHOCKING
burn that I like, but it is good stuff. I am going to try their CO9T when this bottle runs out.Co9T gives the most burn followed by Bay Rum. Lime has the least.

I enjoy a good burn. That's why I ordered the captains cat of 9 tails.
The line is more of a soothing feeling coupled with one of the best lime scents on the market IMHO!

I wouldn't call the scent strong, but I would call it true! Staying power on a scale of 1-10 would be a five. It is a scent that is more for your enjoyment as opposed to everyone in a 10 foot radius.
I agree with Emanon on this. It does smell great when putting it on but it fades incredibly fast. It leaves your skin feeling soft and moisturized so would be perfect to use if you plan on using a cologne and dont want them to clash.
When I first tried my lime sample I was a little underwhelmed with it. The scent wasn't too strong and it did not last long. It was a nice subtle lime scent. When I ran out of the lime, I realized how much I liked it. I ended up winning a PIF from Scott, and ended up picking up the Lime. The Lime is great. I will keep this baby rotating in my den.
When I tried Spieck, I thought I liked it better. Now I see myself reaching for CC Lime more often.

Don't get me wrong, I wish it was an all day scent. The scent is the best lime I've ever experienced!
On the other hand sometimes a subtle scent is required in life. The moisturizing properties in this A/S are second to none! Even better IMO than balms!!

I'd like to see a Captain's Lime with more kick, maybe a Cat o'nine Tails Lime. I want to reach for the Lime, because it smells like a fresh cut lime, but I gots to have my kick!

I volunteer to be a test case on the Co9T Lime.......
Tried it out today. Scent was mild but nice. Good burn, but no staying power. I prefer more aggressive AS.
The lime scent is not overly strong, but it is delightful. Very refreshing. As others have noted, the staying power leaves a bit to be desired.
IMHO, CC aftershaves are unequaled in every way except staying power.
Great idea! I would buy this in a flash!
I get mostly allspice out of it and a bit of lime. Is it just me? I do very much like it though.
The Captain's AS never disappoint!
