Captain's Choice Alternative

I love the healing properties and face feel of the Cap'n., but the scent of his standard bay rum dries down sickeningly sweet on me and obviously does not agree with my body chemistry. I really want to find a quality, agreeable bay rum. Does anyone have suggestions?

Master Bay Rum (available at Sally's Beauty) is about as pure a bay rum A/S as you'll find. The only scent is bay tree oil. If that doesn't work for you, no bay rum will.

Dominica is basically pure bay tree oil and alcohol...could be worth a shot. I get good use out of Ogallala products, the BR Sage and Cedar is my current favorite.

With bay rums, there are lots of alternatives, just gotta go out and try a few!

Try Krampert's Bay Rum Acadian Spice. It has a great scent with excellent conditioning!
