Cap for summer?

I am lookin for a cap that will do nicely as the weather heats up. I am looking for something in the driving or ivy cap style. Does anyone know of a good relatively inexpensive summer cap? Thanks for the help.

I cannot remember where but have seen that type in straw which would be ok. I would recommend a full hat with a brim for sun protection, especially shading the top of the ears which is a common area for skin cancers.

I've rocked the Ivy cap for a few years now. As their popularity has increased, so have the number of companies doing poorly made, throwaway hats for $20. If that's what you're looking for, you can usually find a few in TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Filene's Basement, or other discount store.

I've purchased several from Hats in the Belfry. The quality is much better- these hats will last you a lifetime with minimal fuss. Several of mine are at least 5 years old, and look almost brand new. Their prices are very reasonable as well- many of their pub/ivy/driver caps sell for less than $50. Customer service is top notch as well.

+1 Agree you can get cheap caps almost anywhere now, and that may be ok if you are not sure that an Ivy cap is for you or not.
My favorite summer cap is made by John Murray in Ireland and is made of Irish linen, light weight, cool and well made.
I have the identical cap made of Donegal wool tweed for the cooler weather
Not a great pic but heres a shot of my Linen cap
