I am lookin for a cap that will do nicely as the weather heats up. I am looking for something in the driving or ivy cap style. Does anyone know of a good relatively inexpensive summer cap? Thanks for the help.
I cannot remember where but have seen that type in straw which would be ok. I would recommend a full hat with a brim for sun protection, especially shading the top of the ears which is a common area for skin cancers.I am lookin for a cap that will do nicely as the weather heats up. I've rocked the Ivy cap for a few years now. As their popularity has increased, so have the number of companies doing poorly made, throwaway hats for $20. If that's what you're looking for, you can usually find a few in TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Filene's Basement, or other discount store.
I've purchased several from Hats in the Belfry. The quality is much better- these hats will last you a lifetime with minimal fuss. Several of mine are at least 5 years old, and look almost brand new. Their prices are very reasonable as well- many of their pub/ivy/driver caps sell for less than $50. Customer service is top notch as well.
