I took delivery of a Canadian Schick today and trying to classify it according to the accepted typology has caused all sorts of confusion.
Mine was branded "Magazine Repeating Razor Co" dating it as pre-1945 and the spring has flaps and a short blade guard so it's an E type head but has a plastic seamed handle associated with the later G type.
I posted about it here:

Meanwhile there's a thread about another Canadian Schick branded Eversharp (post-1945) with a G type flapless head but a seamless bakelite handle associated with E types.
That thread is here:

So clearly the accepted typology doesn't fit with Canadian designs.
The proposed explanation that they had old stock heads/handles left over that they then put onto their new handles/heads doesn't explain how the "Magazine Repeating Razor Co" razor has a seamed plastic handle which the typology claims wasn't manufactured until years later when the brand was changed to Eversharp.
And from what I read, the Canadian heads are more aggressive than the US ones.
Clearly the accepted typology doesn't work for the Canadian Schicks so how can they be classified?
Also are there any other Canadian variations?
