Canadian NEW short comb

Need a little help with this one.

Got this in the mail today. A Canadian made NEW with common bar handle and short comb. Patent is 1931 and 1932. It has the 17mm gap. Are these more like their English or American cousins? Any info on this would be great. It came in a lot sale with a Z1 40's SS and a Gem JR.

Nice razor. It is a Short Comb New and not a New DeLuxe.

The New DeLuxe has a flat bottom plate as shown third from the left in my image below.

It should shave just like a US made Short Comb New. They're great shaving razors, enjoy.
