Canadian Dollarama AV

Now stocks Aqua Velva Ice Sport Aftershave! In the 100 mL bottle.
Went to my nearest Dollarama store and couldn't believe what I saw.
They never have anything worth mentioning since I rarely see them with some good stuff. Might go back and get the remaining bottles (if theres any left).
For all the Canadians...check your local store, you never know. :w00t:

First Post!

Just a quick update.

To be more specific the name is:

Aqua Velva Classic Ice Blue Aftershave Skin Conditioner Gel

There is a review on this but the bottle is different from the one on here.
So far I'm liking it, and the price is great!:thumbup1:
(Bought 2 more)

SWMBO and I love the dollarama.
I found some OXY men face scrub for 2 bucks.
I've scored Neutrogena AS balm too.
They bring in lots of good stuff.

Why isn't "Dollarama" ringing a bell for me? I can't even place what or where one would be. My fiancee lives in Yonge-Lawrence Village and I I just can't place that store at all.

I Google Mapped it and the closest i found were near Dufferin St. and the other in Yorkdale Shopping Center. Hope that helps.

I wend to two of them in my area and didn't see any AV as of yet. I'll keep trying and let you know if I find anyplace. I do live near Newmarket, however, and a quick trip might be in the cards.

If you don't find it in your area, then most likely the rest of the shippments haven't been distributed yet. Might have to try next week. I'll keep an eye out for my Dollarama store in Newmarket and see if they get anything new, or are sold out. :001_smile

I went to the Dollarama at Bayview and Major Mackenzie in Richmond Hill and found it. Don't bother going to that Dollarama this week since I cleaned them out of the 6 bottles they had. :w00t: It was $1. for 100ml. I have no idea whether it's a new item or discontinued. It's made in the USA with bilingual labeling.
It's pretty good. Not sticky for a gel and relatively thin. Not very cooling but it does soothe. I like the scent better than the Ice Sport splash, more of a citrus. More Iceberg Twice than Cool Water clone.
Ingredients are Water, SD Alcohol 40-B, PEG-6, Caprylic/Capric Glycerides, Fragrance, Cyclomethicone, Dimethicone, Copolyol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Tocopheryl Acetate, Menthol, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Trithanolamine, Blue 1, Yellow 5.
Pardon the crappy pic.

I've never tried that aftershave, but now I'm considering going to the closest Dollarama to see if they have it to try it out!

I'm in Mississauga and there are a couple Dollarama's close by that I can think of, so I will have to pop in when I'm out today or tomorrow. :thumbup1:

It's pretty decent actually, have tried it a few times...:001_rolle

Went to my Dollarama on the weekend, and baught 2 more bottles you know...just in case. :001_rolle

I'm really liking the scent. Very refeshing and pleasant. I also like the the menthol which is not to much and not to little, which is what I like, since I have sensitive skin and not much of a fan of that total freezing sensation, specially since winter is uppon us. It also absorbes quickly and leaves the skin smooth and hydrated with the touch of a clean scent. The stinging is also not to bad either, which quickly dissipates any razor burn. Overall I am very pleased with this product and will keep using it as long as its in stock.
If i had to compare it with anything I would probably compare it to Nivea ASB Sensitive. I especially love the pricing though. 2 Bottles for $2.26 CAN

Greybeard thanks for the picture!

Just posting a late reply. Not sure if everyone knows, but it seems that the price has now changed to $2.00
I think its still a bargain, but I still feel that lingering extra dollar being spent...
Oh well, lucky I stocked up when I could. Should last me many months to come.

The location at Dundas Street and Glen Erin Drive in Mississauga (Sobey's, LCBO Mall) has some. Pretty good stuff.
