Can The Scent of Palmolive Brushless Still Be Found?

Hi all,
When I was a young lad I used Palmolive Brushless in the green and white tube from time to time. I didn't care for its performance (it always clogged my razor) but I loved the scent. So, can any of you who remember that scent tell me if the same or a similar scent can be found in any currently available creams or soaps? I have Musgo Real cream in my meager rotation, and there is something about it that is similar, a sort of freshness, perhaps, but it's not the same.

I am not old enough to remember it unfortunetly. I have some of the now discontinued red and white lather Palmolive and it has a very slightly almond and soap smell. I can tell you the Euro Palmolive lather cream smells very much like Mennen regular scent deodorant. The EU Palmolive is probably my favorite cream for smell, but I use the said deodorant. Hope that helps!

Yes, the lather in the red and white tube had a similar scent, although not as rich. Thanks, anyway.

Don't know if you have tried it but Cella has a very rich almond smell to it. Its technically a soft soap but it is a quick and wonderful latherer. Might see if you can get a sample from someone, it may be what your looking for.

i found some of this at a salvage store that stocks scratch and dent stuff. i dont think ive seen any in mainstream stores for a long time. for $.89 i figured if i didnt like it id trash it. needless to say its useless with a brush which i new that but you know i had to try. i tried shaving with it just using my hands to lather and i didnt care for it. so it went to the trash.

I believe Arko Moist Shaving Cream is said to smell like the discontinued US Palmolive (brush) Shaving Cream.

Go fetch that Palmolive green from the trash. There are some that still like the stuff and you can always pass it on. BTW, a dab of Palmolive green brushless on a shave soap makes an absolutely terrific superlather.
