What's new

Can someone identify this blade?

The blade is plain, no markings at all.
No branding on the tuck.
Anyone know which blade this is?

It seems they're made in China by some manufacturer. They are purposely unnamed so any private can label them under their own brand. For example, "Balea" blades...

I believe this guy ( The Unknown Comic) had them made...

Sorry, had to slide this in..
If you are not having fun, you are doing it wrong!

By the way...
How did you get them?
How do they shave?

Oh, I think they will work best in an unknown DE razor...

I got a couple of tucks from a friend and surprised how good this blade is!

Feels kind of similar to Polsilver!

It looks very much like the Boots brand in the UK.

Aah, thank you!
This is very likely as my friend got them in the UK.

Surprisingly, it was good on the first shave but on the second, it's like it had no efficiency remaining! Strange blade!!

It is the Personna Tomy.

It used to be made in Israel but it's now made in Germany. It is the OEM blade for a few places in the UK, Amazon Solimo and a few others, including Boots. I've got those blades for a few other sellers too.

I'm not sure I've tried the Tomy specifically, but I have tried a number of other Israel Personna blades. I have not tried any of the German made ones yet.

This is not a Dorco branded as another brand. The Balea Dorcos have somewhat bluish background. That blade is a Personna. Sold as many in-store brands for more than a decade. First they were Israeli. Now they are German made. Less and less companies use Personna these days. Guess why. Dorco offers lower prices. But the Dorcos are worse than those Personnas.
Currently Amazon's own brand is Personna made in Germany (with that exact packaging) Used to be called Solimo 2 years ago. Now only something like Double Edge or similar.

Once again Ivan is right. I've looked closely Balea's Dorcos and while the top card seems similar they are not the same. Balea's have a shine on the blade and gradient colors. Looked up Solimo and yep they are right on spot with the top card. So cheers to our human blade encyclopedia Ivan.

Great, thanks!

The blade definitely doesn't feel like a Dorco either. It's smoother and sharper.
