Hi everyone. I got this at a consignment store and thought I was buying a Superspeed at first. When I looked more closely I noticed the solid handle but wasn't sure exactly what it was. Then I read a few threads on these Rockets but there are so many variations in one of the more detailed threads that I got confused. I believe I do have a Rocket but I'm just not sure which one. Maybe someone can offer some help. Thank you.
Can someone confirm if this is a Rocket HD?

Very nice Junior! You'll find it to be one of the best of the Rocket-type razors. Great score.
I've got one of those, they look beautiful and shave beautifully, but not as nice as my 40's style superspeed.

Thanks guys. I spent an evening cleaning with CLR and scrubbing bubbles followed by a polishing with Blue Magic to get it to this state. I am happy that I found this in a consignment store. I am even more happy that I paId a whole $9 with taxes for it! I will surely treasure this because I don't see very many of them. Looking forward to using it tomorrow. It makes me feel better about this purchase especially after getting burnt on a W&B straight that had lost its temper. (pun intended)
