What's new

Can I get some Advice plz

Okay so I am going to be selling a kit soon (maybe to a friend to get him into wet shaving). After I sell the kit I will be purchasing a new razor and I have been eyeing the cadet razors from Shave a Buck and I want to know what people think of the Open Comb razor. I know that the open comb is BOTOC approved but I still have a few questions. I want to know if the Open Comb razor preforms very well with Lord Super Stainless Blades. (Because these are my favorite blades and i have about 100 of them. If they don't work in the razor I buy then im selling the said razor) I am open to other suggestions but I am on a budget and I want a newly made razor (sorry for you vintage lovers but I am crazy about condition of things when I buy things so I prefer new). So people have a better idea of my beard type I shave every other day and occasionally I can shave 2 days in a row. I have a light beard and I have skin that is on the sensitive side. I want to keep the price around 30 dollars and preferably at 25 dollars (which is the price of the cadet razor)

The Cadet Open Comb is one of the most aggressive razors that you can buy. I personally would rate it between a FaTip and 2011 R41 as far as aggressiveness.

If you have a light beard and sensitive skin, try the three piece closed comb Cadet, or one of the TTO models, it would be a much better choice for you.

The three piece head is virtually identical in every aspect to the R89/DE89 head. Very efficient, yet mild enough for the new wet shaver. The TT0 shaves very similar to a British Red Tip.

For the price it is hard to go wrong with the Cadets, I love the three models I have, best bang for the buck out there.

IDK, but open comb I believe is for guys with tough beards, but I am no expert!
That may be true but I am talking about the Lord Super Stainless blade here which i regard as a mild blade and My other favorite blade is the Lord Platinum class blade( Both the Lord Platinum and Super Stainless blades are mild blades but they provide me with very comfortable shaves). Open Comb razors are usually considered more aggressive than safety bar razors and from what I have read Mild blade + aggressive razor = Great shave but I have not been able to test that theory myself.
