Can AOS shave soap refill fit into MWF ceramic dish?

I have an empty MWF ceramic dish which I wont be refilling with MWF. So I was wondering can an AOS shave soap fit in there easily? Or am I better off getting the wooden bowl with the AOS soap?

PS - Are AOS soaps not tallow anymore? When did this happen? Must be recent as a year or so ago I remember them being tallow if I'm not mistaken.

The MWF dish is quite large and I can't imagine a soap puck which won't fit in there. AOS have re-formulated their soaps- the new mix does not contain tallow and has mixed reviews.
