Can anyone tell me anything about this Japanese knife?

This was a lucky Goodwill score for $2.00. In the short time I have owned it, it has become my favorite knife. Unfortunately, it is my wife's favorite too. No one can dull up a knife like my wife.

Can anyone tell me anything about it?

I was thinking the same. You can pick something like this at any Chinese grocers for about $2-3 dollars.

You should see the before and after pictures of razors that are brought back to life buy folk here. If the knife is made of good metal it can be brought back.
