Can anyone help me identify this Gillette razor?

Hi all,
I am new to the world of vintage shaving, and my interest was sparked when I found this double edged razor at a flea market for a few bucks. I have been trying to identify it, but without success so far. I can't seem to find anything that is exactly like it. The handle looks like an aristocrat, with the spiral, but that is as far as I got. The patentnumber is 694093 on the inside of the head. On the bottom of the head is the Gillette logo, made in England and a Roman II. So, could anyone help me?

Its a British Aristocrat. WOW GREAT find, I'm not sure what # yours is but a more experienced member will be able to let you know. Great razor, you'll love it.

Beautiful!
It’s a 4th generation English Aristocrat. It would have come in a #22 or #66 set. (Same razor, just different cases)
Rhodium plated loveliness. Should be a fairly mild shaver.
That’s definitely starting at the top! Congrats on the score!

I'm thinking it's from a #66 set. Probably made between 1955 and 1960, the Patent was only awarded around 1954. The II on the bottom of the tray also shows that it is a later model. This only became a requirement once the blue tips and red tips were rolled out. This is the measure of its aggression. (I) was for light, (II) for regular and (III) for heavy as found on the English Red Tips.

My last shave was with this exact razor. If it's the brass version, it has a good weight and it is fairly mild but efficient. I was rewarded with a DFS in only two passes. Definitely a good place to start wet shaving!

Ok, early guess was looking at pictures on my phone. Now on my tablet, I’m thinking it’s from a #70 set. The head looks like it’s nickel plated. Great score.
