I was thinking the same , if I remember right anything on or after 1890(?) had to have the country of origin to to new trade laws ect ..That is a sexy razor. It is post 1900 for sure.
I fell in love with the scales when I saw the classified add for this one and had to have it! I was a bit concerned about the blade's condition when I bought it, but when it arrived it was in far better shape than the pictures I saw led me to believe. The seller stated it was not shave ready, but a pasted strop and CrOX on balsa was all it needed to come back to life!I'm not sure about the date range, but those are some awesome abalone scales.
