Calgary Meet and Blade Purchase

I know this is SUNAs deal, but since the Calgary residents have been conspicuous silent I thought I would start a separate thread from the travelling box and try to get this going. Call me greedy, but I want some BLADES!

Maybe everyone interested should post:
1. They are in fact interested in the meet up
2. If they have spoken for blades from SUNA and how many
3. Where in the city they live
4. Willing to travel anywhere?
5. Days and times that work
6. Finally, any suggestions on locations

I think if everyone does this we can get the ball rolling. I think SUNA has had the blades for over a week now.

2. I have spoken for 200 if possible
3. I am in the far SW in Evergreen
4. I can travel anywhere, but prefer something not TOO far
5. I can make it almost any night. This Thursday is out for me, and Tuesday and Thursday next week would have to be after 8.
6. Anywhere there is a wing night. Kings Head on Macleod Trail has 10 cent wings on Wednesdays!

Good idea starting a new thread. I'm looking forward to a meet up for this. So on to your questions.

1) Yes I am interested in a meet up.
2) Yes I have (200)
3) Live in the NW
4) Willing to travel a little. I live far NW so anything too far south may be out.
5) Mon-Fri 6:30-3:30. Only real conflict is I may be out at site next Tuesday. Other then that I'm pretty much free I think.
6) Depends on where most people are. Schanks North could be fun. I also like Jamesons in Brentwood. That being said I don't really care.

1. Yes, would love to if scheduling works out. Busier than I would like lately.
2. Yes. Cannot remember if I signed up for 100 or 200, but yes.

5. Times that work vary day to day. If something is planned that I can make it to, great! If not, my loss.

Good point. We want to be able to talk, and not just to the person next to us.....
Speaking of trade of goods, maybe people want to plan some trades before they come? Is that crazy talk? I am always madly looking for some cade soap.
Edit: Anyone in calgary like tabac and want to buy that lot of cade and 2x tabac in ceramic bowls with me?

I should have made my post more clear.

There is a lot on the BST for 2 ceramic bowls of tabac and a bowl of cade. I want the cade. Does anyone want the Tabac. It is a good price. I'll ask if he'll ship to Canada.

Edit- already made an offer. We'll see.

We have two L'Occitane stores in Calgary. I think the soap is $15'ish.

The chinook expansion is open now (I heard) so yah it should be there. Also if you are there and like a nice cappuccino, check out Phil and Sebastian's, it's the coffee place that was at the farmer's market.

SUNA got a big supply of Gillette Bleue's. They are a great blade.
