I try to get in a minimum of 10,000 steps every day and almost always succeed. Weather is usually the factor on those days where I miss my goal. Working in an office all day does present its own challenge, but I make sure to walk around my building a couple of times a day. Taking stairs instead of escalators and elevators is also a big help. For me, 10,000 steps is an easy goal. Using the same shave equipment that long is where I would fail. Can’t do it!
Interesting challenge. I use a high-end pedometer/accelerometer to keep track of miles walked. In the past six years I've walked just over 10,000 miles, which is an average of 4 to 5 miles daily.
