I got a puck of Cade in June, and while I liked the scent the performance didn't thrill me. However, as I've spent more time with it and learned how to lather it the way I like, it has become a favorite (along with Palmolive shave stick, RSC shave cream, and QCS shave cream). I am now able to get rich, creamy lather that leaves my face feeling great.

It all goes to show that initial impressions aren't always accurate.

+1. Cade is also one of my favorite soap, along with Martin de Candre. I really like the scent. It's very easy to lather even with face lathering and it has a cool looking shaving bowl.

Out of about 70 soaps and creams I own, it's in my top 5. Wonderful scent and very easy to lather.
