Cabelas Safari Jacket

I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in the haberdashery but I am considering getting a Safari jacket & I want to know what you think of it?

I looked at the jacket online, because I am partial to them. However, after reading the reviews, I'd want to take a hard look at one in person due to the continual complaints about the lightness of the material and the concerns about durability.

I've had one of their tan safari jackets for 10 years (may be closer to 20 years) or so. It is a bit thin but I haven't worn it much and it's still just fine. I also have a couple of their long sleeve safari shirts and a short sleeve one. The green one I wear the most is starting to get holes at the stress points at the pockets, but I've had it for years.

I have one of the Boyt's safara jackets and vest and like the very much. Material is thick and soft.
