Can the C Type (Simplified Repeating) Schick Injector be loaded with contemporary blades, or do you have to use vintage pre-loaded magazines? TIA.

I think you can just load it up, though I don't - I just put singles in my C2.

Carefully!
In the C2, I withdraw the tray, place a single blade right way up, insert tray. Then pull back on loader and carefully push forward.
I try to keep the blade horizontal lengthways, but vertical with edge up so as not to inadvertently scrape the edge along metal inside.
Easier just loading a blade with finger and thumb but I like the old school feel.
