Buying Shaving Soaps in Italy

Some of the more popular Italian shaving soaps have a putty-like consistency and could be called either creams or soaps.
Even among manufacturers there is no clear line; some label their product a soap (Proraso), some label it a cream (Valobra, Cella, Figaro).

Whatever you want to call them, they are often excellent and can be quite cheap when bought in Italy - if you only knew where to find them.

If you are interested, I found a large supermarket near Rome Fiumicino airport that stocks some of the brands and have posted more information in the Shaving Cream Forum: http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php?t=116624
