Buying Merkur in Germany??

Hey my buddy is heading to Munich for a week. I was thinking of asking him to pick up a couple of Merkur DEs. Anyone know if they are readily available in a mall, etc. Also, is there a significant price difference from buying in Germany as opposed to USA dealer?

It wouldn't surprise me if US prices were cheaper. It is the biggest consumer market in the world.

Speaking from experience you'll pay more in Germany when you figure in the exchange rate. Especially at today's rates.

If you still must have one ask your friend to check out the big perfumerie chain "Douglas". There are usually flag stores in the main cities' shopping districts. They should have a few Merkur razors.

What you should get your friend to buy you is Speick shave cream/stick/AS/etc. and/or Tabac products from "Rossmann" or "dm" drug stores. These will be cheaper than in the US.

1 USD = .717 EURO and so a Futur for example that sells for roughly $70 here would be a better buy if he could pick it up for less than 50 EUROS - and if there's a tax to bring it back that would factor in as well.
