I've got a nice black soft leather one from Wenger.
I prefer leather because a hard case is difficult to carry around all the time, and I want my cards with me no matter what my attire.
Try the mens furnishings at any major dept. store like Macys.
Cheaper, but just as good - stop by your local Wilsons Leather and look around the wallet area, they usually have some in there.

I picked up a chestnut colored one from Saddleback leather and am extremely pleased with it. Price was reasonable as well.
I usually go with an inexpensive one, Office max has one for $3 or so, it actually looks pretty decent. It's a fake leather but does seem to hold up fairly well, the last one I had was nearly 1 year old and still looked new until I lost it (of course). I have a habit of losing mine for some reason, so I've gone with cheaper ones. 
I think you should try http://cardfila.com to hold business cards. I tried and find it very convenient.
