Burt's bees shaving cream?

Stopped by my local CVS Pharmacy today and saw a Burt's Bees shaving cream and i must say that stuff smelled pretty good. I was wondering if any of you guys have used it and if it lathers up good. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

If it's the stuff in the tube, no, it's not that good. It is not meant to be used with a brush so it doesn't lather. I can get a passable shave from it, but it's not that much fun to use.

Agree, no lather possible with it. I used it many times before switching to DE shaving. I thought it was a lot better than the gel stuff. I have used it with my DE and I'm not too fond of it. It will get the job done but nothing to write home about.

Yup, I gave it a run and nope, it does not lather. The bergamot scent is beautiful (in my opinion), but it's a brushless cream and by brushless cream standards, I gather it's not one of the better ones. I used to keep it in my desk drawer at work for emergencies but it was found lacking. I did like it as an aftershave though. However, if that's the goal, they have an aftershave balm.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Good thing i didn't purchase it, specially being new to wet shaving i would have probably taught it was just me not getting it down right.

I think the other respondents were being far too kind to Burts Bees shave cream.
It is the absolute worst one I have ever tried. It even beat Dr.Lewinn's cream from the bottom rung position it had held I restarted wet shaving.

Renato

A different reason for my dislike...but I kinda prefer creams and I gave this a go...the first time it was bad, and I knew it was brushless and latherless, so I knew not to fret over that. The first go I used what seemed to be a typical amount of cream...but found out I needed way more. So second go round I basically said I'm gonna use as much as I need...and used what seemed/was an absurd amount...and got a GREAT shave...but it made no sense to use that much...the tube lasted 5 shaves or so, can't recall, but it was laughable...so that's why I stay away from it.

You have me intrigued. I've still got a smallish tube left. If your experience translates, I might be able to get two good shaves out of it.
Cheers,
