Burr Coffee Grinders

I've been using a peugeot bresil coffee grinder about everyday for twelve years. mostly for french press now but it did do espresso duty for maybe a year. I enjoy racing to finish the grind before the water is up to temp. I need to rotate my grip as my thumb is wearing though the stain.

I have been using a Hario mini to grind fine.

Takes a lot of time and effort but it is consistent.

If espresso didn't taste as good as it does, I might have to reconsider

I've been using a Baratza Virtuoso for years. Great machine for drip or french roast, but maybe not ideal for espresso. The more you pay the more uniform the grind, generally speaking.

If you have fresh beans (and if you don't, you should get some) will stay fresh for about 15 minutes after you grind them. Over night would definitely not be my choice.
