As the title says I was wondering what people use for polishing up horn scales? I recently bought horn planks to replace the acrylic scales I currently have. What does everyone use? Thanks!

After wet sanding to 1k I can get a very nice finish from a paper towel and 0.5 micron diamond paste.
Everyone has there own favorite level of shine, but for ultimate gleam I work it through the grits making sure the next one completely removes the previous level scratch marks. Once past 2000 I go to trizact 3000 and then 5000 and then 8000 micromesh. The final gleam is obtained with White Diamond brand polishing compound on a soft wheel.
