I know there is Brut, the Vijon copy, and Macho. I was just curious to how close those clones are?

Brut can be had so cheaply, why not just stick with the original?

More of a curiosity kinda thing. I know Brut and the clone have menthol.
The CVS version (which I believe is a Vijon product) is very close to the original.

the Vijon Brut is identical to the real Brut, I think Vijon may make the AS for Brut as they make the AS for Barbasol and Skin Bracer. Here are the ingredients, SD Alcohol 40-B, Water, Fragrance, Propylene Glycol, Menthol, BHT, FD&C Yellow 5.
As I recall from being a kid, I never really liked Brut. But today I sniffed the Vijon version and actually liked it a lot. Didn't buy it, but I think next time I'm there I'm going to pick some up. Heck, might even try some Aqua Velva Ice, too. All things I once swore I'd never wear. I think it's different when you take shaving as seriously as we do

Klos, I bought the splash and aftershave, but heard Vijon has more menthol. But, I'm slowly starting to get into it. Clubman took me awhile, and this is, too. I think it has a nice green scent like Skin Bracer, but it's more dried down and less sweet to my nose.
Thanks, Zack. I think I might like the fact that the Vijon has more menthol.It took me a bit to get into Clubman as well, but now it's in regular rotation, mostly as a cooler weather AS. At the Family Dollar store you can't go wrong for $1.75 so I'll grab some next time I'm in town.
