Brush Question

Can anybody recommend a good brush to use with soaps? I have heard excellent reviews about the Rooney "Special" Super 3/1 and the 1/1 in general. Anybody got a good answer?

I have a 3/1 super and can attest to it's soap lathering abilities, it's my daily brush for face lathering soaps and even creams. Not sure what else would be a good "soap brush," but I'm sure you'll get some good advice from the more soap knowledgeable around these parts.

The Rooney 3/1 Super is probably the best brush money can buy at that price point. (about $75.00). Great for soap, works nicely with cream, extremely well-constructed and can be obtained from reliable vendors who will stand behind the brush if something goes wrong.

All that for $75. Not bad. Not bad at all.

Hear that.Gotta love Vintage Blades!

I use a chubby 2 for my soaps. It is stiff and dense, and what I really like about it is that the soap doesn't disappear into the brush like some other brushes. Whatever you lather winds up on your face.

What he said.

Shavemac brushes should fit the bill as they are densely packed.

That, too. Either is a wonderful option. Enjoy!
