Amazing! Gorgeous brush!

Just got this finished by Dave Bell. Antler handle, that Dave stabilized as it had a small crack, and now is nice and strong, and stabilizing it adds weight to the handle. The knot is a special 24 mm silver tip knot 67 mm loft, made for me with extra fine tips, so zero scritch, it's like lathering with a cloud, just love this. Dave set it at 49mm actual loft.

New Brush today, waiting for a script at the Chemist (drug store) I spied this Omega 10777. I wasn’t going to get it but in the end I thought why not.

Cruising the antique shops today, and found this:

The knot (22 mm) is toast because it's just a fringe around the edge. There's a dime-sized hole in the middle where the loft is only 15 mm.
Still, I liked the little 6-pillar "Greek Rotunda" on the stubby handle, so I had to buy it for a re-knotting project.
Handle height is only 52 mm (2"), which is ideal for me.

There was also an "Eagle" tin travel brush, just like this one ...

... but it had signs of rust, and I didn't think I'd actually ever use it, so I left it there, next to an Oval-slot Fat-handle Tech.

Gentlemen I have officially lost the plot. I may require psychiatric care. I recently spent for me an insane amount of money on this brush. It’s a Kent BK2 pure badger brush. It came off eBay and is unused. Delivered to my door it set me back a whopping $38.00 Australian. I’ve never ever spent that sort of money on a shaving brush before. I am still astounded that I bid on it and won.

Mozingo Sumohive w/26mm Maggard SHB bulb...I had an idea for a Sumo with beehive grooves and Brett Mozingo was not only a good sport, but did a killer job.
