I need your impression.One a horsehair brush is used immediately after treated with soap, shampoo etc..? Works well as the bristle pig?

Yes, just like boar. It also needs some time to break in. So use it for a week or so and see how it works.

yes...you can use it after you wash it ....the slight aroma will dissipate after a few shaves...if you buy the cheapest vie-long you must compare it with a cheap boar (pig) brush,if you buy vie-longs best horse brush ,you can compare it to any makers best boar....one way or another though.vie-long makes the absolute finest horse hair brushes,and very reasonable in cost...

I have 2 Vie-Long horses (small/medium size) and the Semogue LE. Hard to compare those as knot size, density aso is not the same. Usually when they are comparable, the horse works better for me.
