Broken Aristocrat on the bay

There is an Aristocrat currently for sale on the bay - I don't think I can add a link because, whilst there is a buy it now option, there is also a bid option -

Q - if it is broken - could it be repaired? the BIN price is only 18 euros so does not seem a bad price if it could be fixed?

It depends on what is wrong with it and what type of Aristocrat. The older ones have a reverse threaded end-screw that can be removed with a modified screwdriver.

Honestly, unless you really know what it is you are doing with razors, don't spend your money on broken ones. Especially $24. My advice is to be patient and wait for one that is in that price range or spend a bit more and get a nice one. As for me, I might risk $5 max on such a razor, knowing that there is a very good chance it ends up in the broken razor bin.

You got to keep in your mind that sellers - ebay, flea market, antique shops - will sell you a broken tooth.

I'd pass too. You can find ones ready to roll for roughly the same price. Are you in the states?

+1 Just be a bit patient and you should be able to find a good one. If you really want one, you can always post a WTB in the BST when you reach 50 posts! Good luck.
