Broke my brush

This morning after I finished shaving I gave my (Dovo Micarta Silver tip) brush a strong shaking to remove the water.

Yup, it slip out of my hand and now I'm missing a small part of the handle near the brush line.

Still works but darn, "I hate it when that happens".

I guess you have an excuse to buy a new brush! Lesson of the Day: Always keep a spare, in case this were to happen!

Amazing for micarta to chip. Can you glue the chip back in?

That's a bummer...That's also why, IMO, vigorous shaking is un-necessary. One you shake the water out, you can towel dry the brush and leave it out to dry

Apparently you dont own a Chubby 3! Even if I shake the heck out of it mine is still wet over 24 hours later. At least in the center anyway.

Well...maybe not a Chubby 3, but I do own a Shavemac D01...very, very dense brush. I can get most of the moisture out and shaking and towel dry and it is ready to do next day
