had a good day hunting shaving goods yesterday, picked up a brit superspeed for £3 and some gillette blades for 50p a pack, i got the last 2 packs of gillette rubie blades, the other blades the guy had about 30 packs of each left, all this gear was sold from an old suitcase at the local open air market, in a way i wish i had got the lot but have never tried these gillette blades before so i did not know if they were any good. the last 2 pics are razor after a clean and polish, like most of these old gillettes it came up great.

peek polish, its the only stuff i use on my razors, b and q i get it from, its about £3 for a 50g tube, my old mother is always buying stuff from betterware, those guys that go round the doors selling all sorts of household gear, she got a 100g tube of metal polish from them for £5, it seems to be the same stuff, i tried it out and same results.
