British Red Tip Rocket vs Fat Boy Adjustable

After a fair bit of experimenting and consideration, I have pinned down my two favorite razors.
-The Gillette Rocket Red Tip
-The Fat Boy Adjustable

There is nothing to not like about the Fat Boy. It's versatile, well made and looks the part.

While the Fat Boy is solid, the red rocket is like holding a hammer. When the doors open and close there is no loose movement, it's a fine piece of engineering indeed.
The red tip is super close in shaving, so close that I'd say it's the Fat Boy at maximal settings.













The problem is, I only want to keep one due to going away with the armed forces. Does anyone here have experience with using any of these in the long term?

I would just keep both, but if I needed to chose one I would keep the Red Tip Rocket, it is much harder to come by and you could easily find another Fatboy when you want.

Keep both, how much of a Burden would that be? Suppose you loose one? "God Forbid" you at least have the other one. They both make great conversational peices, and you can show the guys the different between an Adjustable Razor and Non Adjustable. Or suppose one day your face is irritated and you cant use the Red Tip? You can use the Fatboy at a lower setting, I would take both if i was you.

Red Tip Rocket's are great razors and I would keep it over the Fatboy. As had been already said above, Fatboy's are so much easier to come by.
