Breaking in a boar's hair

My boars can't compete with my Silvertip either.

So much so I can remember the last time I used it

Honestly, that's how I'm leaning now. The boar has a FIRMNESS and density, that I haven't found in badger. I just built a TGN 22m finest knot, w/extra hair into a custom brush, 48mm loft, that is nice, but kind of "springy". I get a similar level of softness at the tips with boar, but a firmer overall feel. I just want to reach for the Semogue.

I went thru the lather and dry rounds about 12 times and it really does work.
I am getting lather now and the brush has gotten alot bigger bloom and feels alot softer on my face.
I feel alot better about the brush now but it is still not where I want it to be but I have a feeling it will get there.
On a side note I really dried out my face leaving the soap on too long.

I bought an Omega 81052 last month and haven't had any issues with breaking it in. It was fine from the git-go.

You know that just might work. I put my brush on the window sill to get a full dose of sunlight, and the brush actually is looking more like a brush the drier it gets.
