Breakfree CLP?

As I do have CLP for gun cleaning, and I've used it in chrome lined barrels. Would you think it would be safe for razor cleaning? Has anyone tried it?

It will work for cleaning, but you will not like the residue on your face. Mineral oil works best if you feel the need for any type of lube. Hot water, a soft tooth brush and soap are usually all you need. Scrubbing bubbles if really bad build up.

I've honestly had really good luck with regular toothpaste and an old toothbrush to clean up a couple of scuzzy razors I picked up. Scrubbing bubbles, the spray foam in the green aerosol can, and an old toothbrush works well too.

I use scrubbing bubbles. I use CLP in guns and think it would leave oily residue on shaving gear.

CLP would definitely leave a bunch of oil behind on your razor. Works great on my firearms though. Diluted vinegar could be a good substitute.

I use CLP on my razors to lubricate the mechanical parts. I use scrubbing bubbles to clean the crud off first.
