He has to price them somewhere. It is not functionally much different from Stainless. Seems about right for a fancy special edition in the lineup. And of course Ti is the one to get if you want performance.

I think the price is fine for what's being offered. If I would have found it to be out of hand,
I probably wouldn't have bought one.

I assumed any Blackbird variant would be standard plate; I was on the verge of selling my brass standard and OC plates to make room for my CopperBird. I may take a step back on that, to wait and see.

Not a fan of OC, but I want to have two 'birds; one standard and one lite.

Now the next wait begins for it's arrival!

USPS shows the expected delivery to be on Monday the 7th.
I'm hoping that's accurate but we've got a big hurricane aftermath mess
in the middle to lower eastern seaboard. Package deliveries
might be delayed per USPS.
I've got a package that I shipped out to California a few days ago and it got routed
to Puerto Rico (and it's stuck there) but it must be due to the damage & road closures
where they've had to re-route parcels.
We'll see how it all goes!
