What's new

Brand New Ever-Ready 500PB

Well I hit up the local antique store and they had this brush just asking to be bought. I know nothing about it it looks brand new and not used at all. The badger hair is fairly soft and doesnt seem to shed when I fondled it. If anyone has any info about it I would appreciate it, like when it was made and if they are hard to find or pretty common. Honestly I wont use this brush it probably just going to sit on my cabinet but I love the look of the handle and might have Rudy Vey make me a replica.

Wow these Original boxes are popping up more and more. Really looks good when you have all the original parts

Ever-Ready Badger-lon was usually a mix of Badger and Nylon hairs, but from what i've heard it wasnt the best thing in the world. Great looking brush regardless.

It seems a bit odd that the brush has a "PB" number (indicating pure badger), and yet appears to have the "Badger-lon" branding. Then again, I can't really read the last part of what looks like Badger-lon on the brush, so I'm not sure that is what it says.

It is a nice looking brush, and a heck of a find unused.

I believe it says Badger-ion. Does that indicate that its not pure badger, that would be strange that its marked pure in one spot and and the box and not pure in another.

I assume that means they used pure badger hair, along with nylon bristles, not that it's exclusively badger. However, i could be totally wrong lol
